JA Tools for Success

JA Tools for Success introduces students to work and career readiness skills and other concepts and thought processes needed to prepare for the digital economy. Students learn work-ready skills needed to interact, build relationships, and exhibit self-awareness through the lens of their own values, skills, and interests.

HIGHLIGHTS
-Five modules, each consisting of multiple 5- to 15-minute student self-guided online activities, can be used as individual experiences, combined into a 45-minute
traditional session or used as a supplement to be integrated into existing JA programs.
-Teacher guides, available for each self-guided online activity, provide ideas for launching the activity, extended learning opportunities, and home-to-school connections.

Modules were collaboratively designed by JA USA along with national and international advisory group members.

JA Career Success Blended

JA Career Success Blended cover

JA Career Success Blended Model is an engaging and comprehensive learning experience that introduces high school students to the workplace. As interns, students participate in realistic work experiences in multiple departments of a fictional company, Orbit Boom. The learning experience teaches soft skills and business best practices in the context of scenarios and assignments. The learning experience consists of seven 45-minute sessions and 10 optional sessions. (Grades 9-12)

JA Economics for Success 2.0 cover

JA Economics for Success introduces students to initial work and career readiness and personal finance concepts. The program offers 6 or more or more instructional contact hours (ICH) based on modular delivery of at least 6 of the 10 sessions. (Grades 6-8)

JA It's My Business!

JA It's My Business! cover

Through engaging activities, JA It’s My Business! Blended Model provides middle school students an opportunity to experience the initial steps necessary to start a business. New program content provides an authentic entrepreneurial experience for students, with each session building up to a product-pitch competition. (Grades 6-8) The program includes six 45-minute sessions, with additional extended learning activities and optional digital assets offered throughout.

JA It's My Future cover

JA It’s My Future Blended Model offers middle school students practical information to help prepare them for the working world. Students will develop the personal-branding and job-hunting skills needed to earn a job. (Grades 6-8) The program includes six 45-minute sessions, with additional extended learning activities and optional digital assets offered throughout.
