In 2025–26, Junior Achievement of Central Virginia reached 31,586 students across 102 schools, delivering 214,999 hours of learning in financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship.

It was a year defined by growth, connection, and opportunity, and one made possible by the educators, volunteers, businesses, donors, and community partners who continue to invest in Central Virginia's young people.

This year's results offer a look at both the scale of JACV's work and the experiences behind the numbers. Students reported greater confidence in their ability to succeed, stronger connections between school and their futures, and more hope about their financial futures. Teachers continued to see value in bringing JA learning into their classrooms, with 100% saying they would recommend JACV programs to their peers.

Behind every number is a student making a decision, asking a question, exploring a possibility, or encountering a future they may not have imagined before.

Behind each of those experiences is our community.

In 2025–26, more than 1,000 volunteers and 136 corporate partners helped bring real-world learning to students across Central Virginia.

This year also marked an important milestone: 60 years of Junior Achievement in Central Virginia.

Since 1966, JACV has evolved alongside the students and communities we serve—from our first 250 students to the more than 31,000 young people reached this year. The programs have changed. The world students are preparing for has changed. Our commitment to helping young people build the knowledge and confidence to navigate what comes next has not.
