Letter from our Event Chair

I am truly honored and grateful to serve as Chair for the 2022 JA Greater Richmond Business Hall of Fame. I am, as ever, truly passionate about the purpose behind this initiative. As a local entrepreneur myself, I have a deep appreciation for recognizing the hard-working and deserving business leaders making an impact in the city of Richmond and beyond. I’m looking forward to honoring these remarkable individuals who have been dedicated to elevating our community with their considerable entrepreneurial talents.

As I reflect on my life and career, I realize that I wouldn’t be where I am if not for my early involvement with Junior Achievement which ultimately helped to guide me along my professional journey and inspired me not only to dream big, but to pursue my dreams relentlessly. More recently, I had the opportunity to serve as a Board Member with JA of Central VA for six years and was often encouraged by hearing the stories of our region’s future leaders and watching them grow. During that time, I saw firsthand that when we build up the next generation and help spark their ambition, we can greatly impact the future of our community for years to come.

This year, we will recognize our 2022 Laureate inductees: BK Fulton - Soulidifly Productions, LLC; Tom Gayner & Richie Whitt - Markel Corporation; Dr. Pamela J. Royal - Royal Dermatology. They enter a league of distinguished leaders and Laureates who inspire young people in their pursuit of excellence.
