Leadership

Jennifer Boyle – President & CEO – Leadership
Jennifer has enjoyed over 20 years of nonprofit experience exclusively in organizations that serve youth.
Before assuming her current role, Jennifer served as executive director of MENTOR Virginia, an organization dedicated to promoting effective youth mentoring throughout Virginia. While there, she led the organization through transition, executing a successful restructure; exceeded budget and program goals; helped develop a sustainable plan to respond to racial inequities in the mentoring field; and quickly and effectively responded to restrictions placed on the organization and partners due to the pandemic.
Prior to that, Jennifer served as vice president of operations with JA of Central Virginia - so her role now is somewhat of a homecoming. As vice-president, Jennifer worked closely with the JA team to streamline operations; establish processes; increase program offerings, students served, and volunteer engagement; assist in the capital campaign to build JA Finance Park; and build new partnerships and strengthen established ones.
Before joining Junior Achievement, she served as director of development, director of education, and director of guest services with the Children’s Museum of Richmond.
Jennifer, a Richmond native, has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a member of the Leadership Metro Richmond cohort of 2018 and sits on the board of the Virginia JumpStart Coalition for personal financial literacy. She is a graduate of the Emerging Nonprofit Leaders Program with Nonprofit Learning Point and the Penn State/JA Managerial program.
