JA Future Laureate Scholarship

Junior Achievement of Central Virginia awards an unspecified number of $2,500 scholarships to deserving high school students. Please see below for details, deadlines, and instructions. Please note, all applicants are required to have participated in Junior Achievement of Central Virginia programs and will be asked to speak about the impact of their experience at one or more JA events.
This competition is open to students in the graduating classes of 2023 and 2024 who have participated in at least one JA of Central Virginia program since September 3, 2020.
This year's video prompt:
JA programs focus on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. How has your participation in a JA program affected how you think about one or more of these topics? How has it affected how you think about your future? Please include concrete examples of changed behavior or mindset where possible and address both questions.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, a second round has been opened for this year with two scholarships to award!
Applications will be accepted through 11:59 PM, June 10, 2022.
